Hytera, a leading global provider of innovative Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) communications solutions, showcased a series of products and solutions including the newly-released LTE-PMR Convergence Solution, Integrated Command and Control Centre, and a number of narrowband-based products and accessories at Mission Critical Africa 2017 (MCA 2017) on November 7-8 at Cape Town International Convention Center in Cape Town, South Africa.
The LTE-PMR Convergence Solution comprises cutting-edge Multi-mode Advanced Radio terminals, LTE-PMR Convergence infrastructure, Broadband Mesh and management software. It incorporates feature-rich broadband technologies while ensuring that critically important voice services remain reliably accessible using narrowband technologies such as TETRA and DMR. Hytera invited its partner from Italy to present third party applications for the convergence solution, making effort to build and open up the ecosystem of mission critical communications in the LTE era, and bring more value-added services to the users.
The new generation of Integrated Command & Control Centre (ICC) has also been the highlight of the booth demonstrating Hytera's increasing capability of integration and innovation in developing up-to-date solutions for the users of mission and business critical industries. The ICC solution was firstly showed in an African expo.
In addition, Hytera also showcased a series of narrowband-based innovations, including DMR and TETRA terminals, DMR Trunking Cube base station, TETRA R5 Compact Base Station and E-pack 100. With compact and highly-integrated design, the DMR Trunking Cube base station can provide more feasible options for customers to choose when facing various application scenarios like tight space, fast deployment and harsh environment. While at the terminal product line, Hytera brought MD785, PD7, PD6, X1p, MT685, PT580H Plus and Z1p into the spotlight. Those terminals have been proved many times in South Africa for their great reliability and excellent performance.
During the two-day event, many key decision makers from PMR industry and public safety department like South African Police visited Hytera booth, sharing insights and having business discussions.
Sepura and Teltronic, subsidiaries of Hytera, also showcased their TETRA portable radios and TETRA Transport Solution during the exhibition to present a total solution for different industries provided by Hytera.
