Hytera, a world leading solution provider of Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) communications, opened its new office in the central business area of Mexico City, Mexico, on the 13th March, as a strategic move to increase its local presence in Mexico and Latin America, where it has already supplied professional two-way radio communication systems to many users, such as Mexican Ministry of the Environment, Ministry of the Presidency of Dominican Republic, National Police of Peru and Brazilian Military Police of Federal District. This new office becomes one of the four Hytera offices in Latin America, with the rest in Bogota, Lima and Sao Paulo.
More than 80 Mexican channel and project partners joined Hytera team at the opening ceremony and 360° Mexican Partner Conference held in the InterContinental Presidente Hotel on the same day. At the event Hytera talked about the roadmap of its LTE product and demonstrated the LTE-PMR Multi-mode radios. Hytera officially launched its flagship radios, PD986 and PT790Ex, from its world leading Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) and Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA) portfolios. High-end DMR radio, PD986, is designed for challenging environment and professional users. PD986 offers an exceptional audio experience through noise cancellation technology, while including new features such as full duplex calls, recording capability via Micro SD, Bluetooth 4.0 for audio or data and single frequency repeater mode to increase coverage.
PT790Ex is the world's first "ia" level, and also the highest level Intrinsically Safe (IS) TETRA radio. PT790Ex ensures smooth communications in hazardous environment, and it is great working tool for firefighters and professionals working in industries like oil & gas, chemistry, mining, etc.
